We are pleased and proud to announce that Katelyn has won this prestigious award presented by the Australian Institute of Physics (AIP). This award is a testament to the way Katelyn develops and involves students in designing flexible learning programs that are engaging and promote deep understanding of Physics concepts. Katelyn expertly uses STEM pedagogy, with a variety of instructional materials and new technologies and approaches, to stimulate student curiosity and learning from which our students benefit greatly.
The AIP present to students studying Physics at the 3 South Australian Universities, where they ask students to nominate a past Physics teacher that has inspired them. Katelyn was nominated by 2 former EJEHS students who described the positive and challenging way in which she promotes student interest in Physics.
