Intervention

For each class, staff are required to complete traffic lights for student intervention. This includes providing the following for each student:

  • Traffic Light colour (green, amber or red) for each learning criteria (learning capacity, learning achievement, learning commitment and engagement).
  • A comment around the student’s learning and the tasks submitted to date.

Traffic Lights are completed each fortnight and are readily accessible to students, parent/caregiver and staff through Daymap.

Intervention study support sessions run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 – 9:30am. These sessions are compulsory for students to attend, where they can receive additional support with their learning. Traffic lights are a strategy to assist in achieving our Site Improvement Plan goal of achieving higher grade bands across all subject areas.
