Industry Experience Program with SA Power Networks
SA Power Networks in conjunction with the Department of Education are looking to attract and engage high school students into seriously considering an apprenticeship as a career option by giving real-life experience about what an apprenticeship with SA Power Networks is, what the commitment and expectation from the student looks like and what a career with SA Power Networks can mean for you!
The Program will aim to give students an indication of what it takes to work for SA Power Networks and offer field-based work experience to ensure students are well equipped to make informed decisions about their future investing in a career in electrotechnology.
Our Apprenticeship Program is run by nationally accredited staff who are experts in their field. It includes both on and off-the-job training at our dedicated Training Centres and TAFESA. Apprenticeships are available in various locations around South Australia, and include:
• Powerline Transmission

• Be in their final year or second to last year of High School completing Stage 2 of their SACE
• Be enrolled in a Department for Education (Government) school
• Completing all compulsory SACE subjects
